The data analyst is a data professional who collects, analyzes and interprets numbers within a company. They are responsible for discovering trends and providing insights to help the company make informed decisions. The data analyst is an expert in statistics and mathematics who knows how to extract information from raw data. He uses commercially available software such as Tableau, Kibana, Google Data Studio... to manipulate data and visualize it in different forms.

The data analyst works in collaboration with other business professionals, including marketing, sales and finance teams. It is important that they are able to communicate their recommendations to the layman, so that everyone can understand and act on the data they analyze. Data analysts are more and more in demand by companies, as they understand the importance of working with reliable and relevant data. Data analysts enable companies to improve their performance by making informed decisions.
